So Fare Films LLC is an award-winning, women-led American film production company and internship program founded in Rome, Italy in January 2020 and officially incorporated in June 2022. We celebrate and educate about diversity, with both our media content and our team, which is the foundation of our business model to distribute our media as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion materials for university students.

We are led by experienced professionals who embody successful entrepreneurial experience, in depth expertise in film and television production, and proven leadership in business and education. Through our internship program, the Emerging Creators Network, we offer a unique and valuable professional formation opportunity to diverse young creatives as they build a career in the media industry, which is notoriously difficult to enter for women and people from disadvantaged backgrounds. As of Fall 2023 we have hosted a total of 140 interns from 24 countries, 38 of whom are currently active as specialists in our Business Management, Legal, Marketing, Finance & Accounting, Sales, and Video Production departments.

So Fare Films occupies a unique position within each of the intersecting markets it participates in, as a film production company, a training program and a diversity education company. With the acquisition of seed funding in the fourth quarter of 2022, we have undergone a crucial period of growth and stabilization. Our current financial objective is to obtain second-round funding to complete production on our media products in order to catalyze our path t

o market. Due to our decision to pursue distribution not only through educational avenues, but also as diversity offerings, our film products bear growth and revenue potential exceeding typical documentary film distribution scenarios. We are fueled by relatively low company overhead, our robust internship program, and our initial “proof of concept” success at grassroots fundraising and building “something out of nothing” over 3.5 years. These starting advantages—paired with a broad cultural shift in awareness about challenges and opportunities related to social diversity, equity and inclusion—position us at the forefront of our field at the right moment.

Is my donation tax deductible?

Depends on a few factors like if you received a reward in exchange for the donation and the value of your donation above that rewards cost, etc. You may contact the nonprofit you donated to directly to receive information on whether or not your donation is tax deductible. Nonetheless, the emailed receipts you will receive for your donation is the documentation you need to make it tax deductible.

Yes, the security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We will not sell, trade or share your personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations, and we will only share personal information if you have given us specific permission to do so.

How do I know that my donation was made successfully?

You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.

Do I get a receipt?

Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
